What is NJIT Splash?

The New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT) is hosting a program called Splash, and would like to invite students to its campus in Newark, NJ on Saturday, March 25th, 2017 for a fun day of learning! Students in grades 9 to 12 have a chance to learn about topics that they wouldn't typically learn about through a standard school curriculum. This program is designed to inspire the inquisitive, intellectual nature within each high school student. This way students have a chance to find and learn more about their passions!

It is a day-long event where students can take classes on a variety of topics taught by NJIT students themselves. The first Splash was held at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Including MIT, it now currently runs at Stanford, Columbia, Princeton, Yale, and many other universities. Now, it has come to NJIT!

It will be held on a Saturday, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and will entail many exciting activities. Breakfast and lunch will be provided, and in addition to the classes, there will be walk-in activities. Parents and guardians are more than welcome to attend this event! Other than the classes, there will be tours for the parents and seminars on everything from admissions to financial aid. The cost of the program will be $10, but there is a fee waiver available to those who ask.
