E233: Introduction to Programming and Animation with MIT Scratch in Splash Spring 2020 (Mar. 28, 2020)
In this course students will learn the basics of programming, animation, and game development. using the MIT Scratch software. This drag and drop "programming language" is the perfect introduction to algorithmic thinking and development. Students should be able to start or complete their own custom game before the end of class. All required tools will be provided.

M166: Introduction to Game Dev with MIT Scratch in Splash Spring 2019 (Apr. 13, 2019)
Using the MIT Scratch environment this class will teach basic program concepts and their application to animation and game development. Scratch is a free software for teaching programming so students can take their work home with them and keep learning.

M65: Introduction to gamedev w/ MIT Scratch in Splash Spring 2018 (Mar. 24, 2018)
Using the introductory software, MIT Scratch, students will follow along to create a playable game complete with their own hand-animated characters, which will be able to move across the screen and act out a variety of abilities. No background programming or animation knowledge required.

M28: Introduction to MIT Scratch in Splash Spring 2017 (Mar. 25, 2017)
Get familiar with basic programming algorithms and methods through MIT's easy to use Scratch software. We will be running through the creation of a basic game, including animation and two-player support.
