E273: Introduction to Chemical Engineering in Splash Spring 2020 (Mar. 28, 2020)
If you enjoy physics, chemistry, and mathematics, chemical engineering might be the field for you. But what do chemical engineers actually do, and why should you care? In this course, I will discuss the career paths that chemical engineering can open up for you, as well as give you an in-depth look at the classes that you will take and what you will learn as an undergraduate chemical engineering major. Hopefully you can walk away from this course knowing whether or not you want to be a ChemE!

X168: All In! A Comprehensive Introduction to Poker in Splash Spring 2019 (Apr. 13, 2019)
As a mentally demanding game involving aspects of deceit, strategy, mental fortitude, and probability, No-Limit Texas Hold ‘Em (more commonly known as ‘poker’) has risen to the top as one of the most famous casino/card games in the world. In this class you will learn all of the basics of the game, starting from the moment you are dealt your cards, up to some more complex ideas, like bluffing, body language, and other (more mental/abstract) aspects. After this lecture/discussion style introduction, we will get to sit down and play, and see how you handle the pressure.
