E241: Progression of Tanks from World War 2 to Present in Splash Spring 2020 (Mar. 28, 2020)
A discussion of how tactics and technology have changed how tanks are used, designed, and built. We will see how new technologies and concepts affected the way tanks were designed and how this makes modern tanks different from World War 2 tanks.


M199: Physics in Video Games in Splash Spring 2019 (Apr. 13, 2019)
Looking at modern AAA games today, many games seem to ignore basic physics in order to make it more enjoyable for the audience. In this class we will be showing how in even the most nonsensical of games, physics is prevalent and important, and how games manipulate their game’s physics to make your gaming experience more enjoyable. We will have examples for all types of genres including sports, rpgs, simulation games, and more. Audience participation is highly encouraged if they know of even more examples and want to discuss it.
